n8n-style field mapping + connector fixes
Every node field now works like n8n — a per-field Fixed/Expression toggle with schema-reference chips — resource mappers add all columns by default, autosave settled to once a minute, and the Podio workspace picker was fixed.
This window rebuilt how you put values into node fields, matching n8n's behavior, and cleared a few connector and editor rough edges.
Field mapping, the n8n way
- Every field carries a per-field Fixed / Expression toggle (revealed on hover in mapper rows). Fixed holds a literal; Expression binds upstream data.
- Dynamic values render as schema-reference chips ("Source node · field") with a live Result line and an item stepper — not raw {{ }} text.
- Resource mappers (Google Sheets, Podio, Airtable columns) now show a row per column by default. "Add column to send" is a fallback that only re-adds a column you removed. A column serializes only when it has a value.
Fixes
- Autosave settled from every ~1.5 seconds to once a minute.
- Podio workspace picker fixed — it no longer calls the non-existent GET /space/ (a 404); it enumerates your orgs and lists their workspaces.
Editor and connector changes only — no engine, auth, or MCP changes, and no bot was enabled.
